Removing blank lines in Dreamweaver

Adobe Dreamweaver is a popular web development tool.

Here’s a helpful tip to remove blank lines from an html file using Dreamweaver. No need to remove lines manually.

 

  1. Press CTRL + F.
  2. Select “Current document” in “Find in”.
  3. Select “Source code” in “Search”.
  4. Tick “Use regular expression”.
  5. Type “[\r\n]{2,}” in “Find” (without quotes).
  6. Type “\n” in “Replace” (without quotes).
  7. Then click on “Replace All”.
